Alistair’s family owned the Brookfield Hotel and that’s where he became interested in wine and helped the family win an award for their wine list.

He then set up a wine club for hotel visitors which eventually led him to becoming a wine wholesaler.

Alistair works from his home in Emsworth, supplying quality wines to hotels, restaurants, pubs and the general public. He also writes about wine for The News, offers wine tastings, public speaking and corporate events.

Alistair enjoys the challenge of wine tasting dinners held at local restaurants such as Fat Olives and 36 on the Quay and he is the driving force behind many events held in Emsworth, especially Emsworth’s Food Fortnight.
