Emsworth is lucky enough to have a regular Farmers’ Market, selling fresh produce in abundance. The popular market is held on the third Saturday of each month, throughout the year.

The fabulous Hampshire Farmers’ Market has been coming to Emsworth’s South Street car park for three years now. Stallholders are always pleased to see their regular customers who are passionate about the taste and provenance of the food they buy. Plus there are often new producers to discover, such as Anyone 4 Tea and Sinah Common Honey, both have attended recently.

Going along on Emsworth market day isn’t only about buying delicious local produce. All the stallholders need the support of their customers to sustain and hopefully grow their small businesses. Just one of the many success stories is Ambrose Sausages. Husband and wife team Phil and Sue can often be found at Emsworth’s market and because of their customers’ loyalty and the quality of their pork products, they have now diversified into charcuterie. With around 20 stalls to choose from, there is always hot food and refreshments as well. “We want to encourage even more visitors throughout the summer to come along and enjoy their local producers and discover all the delicious food and drink Hampshire has to offer.”
